Fish-Flavored Vegetable Soup (Kaeng Liang)

Kaeng Liang is a herb and vegetable soup. It is a tasty and healthful soup.
2 Tablespoon Kaeng Liang paste
½ Pound Medium shrimp
½ Cup Baby corn
½ Cup Straw mushroom
¼ Cup Pumpkin
½ Cup Zucchini
½Teaspoon White pepper powder
8-10 leaves Sweet basil
5 Cups Water
  1. Boil water and add Kaeng Liang paste.
  2. Stir the soup occasionally until the paste dissolves.
  3. Add the vegetables and boil until they are done
  4. Season to taste with fish sauce or salt, as desired.
Serve immediately.
