Thailand has an amazing variety of delicious fruits. Many kinds of fruit are available throughout the year, while some are only available for a few months a year.

Fresh fruit is a traditional part of almost every meal, Thailand's fruits are served in a wide variety of ways including soups and entrees.

Fruit carving is a traditional Thai art form. Many kinds of fruit, including papaya, pineapple, and watermelon, are transformed into flowers and other beautiful shapes.

Close attention is paid to the arrangement of platters of fresh fruit to make a selection as appealing to the eye as it is to the palate.

Thai fruits are also liquified in blenders to refreshing nutricious drinks for a hot day.

Fruit also finds it's way into desserts such as sherbets, mango tarts, and coconut custard.
